Boston Bloggers Holiday Meet + Greet

Kate and Alison are happy to announce the Holiday Boston Bloggers meet-up! This meet + greet will be held at Warehouse on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6:30 until 8:30pm. We hope you can make it! With your ticket purchase, you guarantee your spot at the event, where you can mix and mingle with the best of Boston's blogging community. You'll also get a handy checklist of "who's who" at the event.

To brighten the holidays for some of the smallest Bostonians, we will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots on the night of the event. If you'd prefer, you can also elect to give a monetary donation when you purchase your ticket.

Eventbrite Blogger Tour of Boston!

Heads up, Boston Bloggers! Eventbrite is sending ONE local blogger on an event tour around Boston! If you've ever wanted to attend a cooking class at Sofra Bakery, a cheese tasting at Formaggio, a yoga class at OMBE, or an improv show at ImprovBoston (just to name a few options!), you're in luck! Here are all the details:

You'll Attend Events: At least 10 of 'em (you choose!) between January 1 - March 31. The good news is, it's on us (up to $500 worth of tickets!)
You'll Tell Your Readers/Followers/Fans About Them: Don't keep it to yourself - share the love! You'll chronicle your event road show on your blog to help other Bostonians know what is out there, what you are learning and where they go to join in on the fun. And of course we'd love you to spread the fun on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc - anywhere your followers/fans are looking to hear from you!
You'll Have FUN: Maybe the most important aspect to this "job", you'll have blast exploring the best events Boston has to offer!

It may sounds like a lot, but don't fret--we're here to help! Not only will we send you a suggested list of events based on your passions and hobbies, but we'll totally play event buddy and tag along for at least a few of the parties, workshops, or conferences you attend! We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for donation for the Salvation Army holiday efforts. Note: donation is not required; we just wanted to make it available so the Boston Bloggers can help bring cheer to children in need!

On Sunday October 21, 2012 at the Stonewall Kitchen Headquarters in York, Maine (just over an hour from Boston) the ladies behind Blog Better Boston will be hosting their first annual Food Summit. This full day event will be jam packed with exclusive sessions lead by Stonewall Kitchen staff and other leading industry professionals. Whether your blog focuses on home-cooking or dining out, there’s a little something for everyone, no matter your focus or level of expertise. Strengthen your photography skills with Stonewall Kitchen’s staff photographer; fine-tune your restaurant reviews with an award-winning food writer and cookbook author; indulge in one of Stonewall Kitchen’s famous meals after experiencing firsthand how it’s made.

Why does this event cost money and previous events did not? We had an incredible response to our December event and had to turn away a number of attendees. Unfortunately, we noticed that not all of those who RSVPed actually attended the event. This translated to bloggers being shut out of the event. We want to make sure there is an accountability for those who RSVP and, in turn, attend. This small fee will also guarantee this event {and future events!} are the best they can be! Boston Bloggers Holiday Fiesta!

Celebrate the holiday season with fellow Boston Bloggers!

We'll be gathering at the cozy Mass Ave Tavern

and we hope you can join us for the fiesta!

To add to the holiday cheer, bring a $10 to $15 wrapped gift to blindly swap with another blogger in attendance. Your participation is not mandatory, but we guarantee it will be loads of fun. All you need to do is bring the gift...we'll take care of the rest!

To help brighten the holidays for the less fortunate in Boston, we will also be accepting donations for the Toys for Tots program, which will be taken to a drop site the next day! Boston Bloggers Mixer at 28 Degrees

The event last Wednesday at 28 Degrees went so amazingly well. Bloggers mingled, sipped on watermelon blog-a-tinis, noshed on tray after tray of appetizers, exchanged business cards, and met lots of new people! The turnout was great, ranging from food bloggers, to a menswear blogger, to a lovely gal who came all the way from Providence! It truly couldn't have gone better. We appreciate everyone who took the time to join us!
